📢 Important update for Eurostars-3 companies: Revised Eureka Fast Track Guidelines to the EIC Accelerator Following the amendment of the 2026 EIC Work Programme, Eureka has published updated Fast Track Guidelines for applicants and experts. The revised rules will apply from Fast Track Call 5, launching on 31 August 2026.

Key updates include:

Dual-use technologies are now eligible. Companies applying through the Eureka Fast Track may submit dual-use projects, even if their original Eurostars-3 project was exclusively civilian.

Updated evaluation framework, fully aligned with the 2026 EIC Accelerator, with greater emphasis on:

  • Deep Tech and breakthrough innovation;
  • Intellectual Property (IP);
  • Market Opportunity.

Simplified evaluation process, with fewer assessment sub-criteria and revised scoring weights and thresholds.

Additional clarifications regarding EIC funding pathways and updated eligibility thresholds for small mid-cap companies.

The Eureka Fast Track enables successful Eurostars-3 companies to bypass the EIC Accelerator Short Proposal stage and proceed directly to the Full Proposal, while benefiting from expert feedback and EIC business coaching.

📅 The updated rules will apply from Fast Track Call 5, opening on 31 August 2026.
